# One Big Tickle

# OneBigTickle

[OneBigTickle](http://www.onebigtickle.co.uk/) was created in 2010 as a news and fundraising site for Eliot Eland, who has [Angelman Syndrome](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angelman_syndrome#:~:text=The%20diagnosis%20of%20Angelman%20syndrome,based%2C%20stiff%2Dlegged%20gait.). The website was developed as a proof of concept for a lightweight .NET CMS that could be plugged into any ASP.NET website.

The development of OneBigTickle provided an opportunity to help a worthwhile cause while also refining our CMS. The graphic design was subcontracted to MongoInk.

OneBigTickle offers news, photo galleries, and a donation mechanism through PayPal. However, the site has largely fallen out of use in favor of the [OneBigTickle Facebook page](https://www.facebook.com/groups/185781981440591/), which provides greater exposure for the organization through the ease of sharing posts and stories with a vast audience of people.
